Default New Machine, Thoughts on the CRT or is it the board

got a new machine..to me. Hit the jackpot too! I ran out of balls in the hopper, so i think that's why i got the alarm in the end.
Can anyone give me their opinion about the lines on the screen of the screen. Do we think its the screen or the board its getting the information from. The lines stay like this and dont change.
Any help with be greatly appreciated.

    and biscuits !

You got LCD "Screen Rot " so to fix it you need to get a replacement LCD compatible monitor with the right plug ins .

We have a few Treads on this Forum about this problem that a few of our members were able to get a new screen and get it to play nice with their machine .

The CRT may be fine since it is showing an image, looks more to me like you have a signal problem. I reccomend to first re-seat all the connectors associated with the crt even if you have to take it apart to
    get at them.

I assumed it was a crt...but it could be an lcd. Im taking my time before i open it up to remove it and open it up to find out. It works and i have that crazy fear of if i pull it out it will stop working. Lol

As a Radio Technician for a decade look for the obvious loose disconnected cable or loose wires going to the connectors dirty connectors or pins (wd40 makes a real good contact cleaner with no residue ) also you can "work the connectors " plug in an out a couple time to remove corrosion from the connectors and connections .

And have a really good magnify glass with build in led lights

When start doing your "Surgery" could you please post on this Thread Nice , Clear photos of the work and maybe a YouTube video or two .

While working on these machines take plenty of photos and take notes so when it comes to reassembly it will go smoothly.

And if I may recommend having a permanent work area so you don't have to move your machine while working on it .

Those darn small parts like to "hide" all the time .

I am in the middle of reconditioning a single shot machine right now, but after that I will certainly post photos when I pull the board out.
The more I look at it, it appears to be an lcd screen inside and will test connections and see if it really is the screen with the issue.
However more importantly is the fact that I though I fixed the payout issue. But nope. I hit triple 3s last night for the payout and got nothing.
I fear I am going to have to do a payout motor inspection and look for any information and pictures regarding pulling that out and finding out the proper settings for payout levers too.
I get regular payouts when i hit them but when the jackpot gets hit i get nothing but the alarm and r code, this time Error 3
You can see from the last pic that there are plenty of balls loaded in the machine too.
(idk why those 2 photos loaded in the wrong orientation, I didn't know how to fix it here)

Can anyone tell me before I start thinking about fully pulling this apart to fix my "fever not working issue" that I thought I fixed, if this post is supposed to sit on top or go through that loop? Is this part of the payout system or release for the fever mode?

The pin should go through the loop. That won't change anything with a jackpot not paying out, that just prevents balls from being loaded in front of the shooter when the hopper up top is empty / almost empty.

got it! I made the adjustment to that. Finally figured out the fever mode on it too! I need to make some sort of volume control or potentiometer tie in on this because the volume even on lowest setting is still super loud.
