Costco Warehouse has become a Police State

It is a Very Sad Day today to report a Food Store that Intentionally Drives Customers away but it happened to me.

After I Volunteered my Three hours at the lower Presidio of Monterey Museum I wanted to do some shopping at Costco . When I got there Nature was calling so wanted to use the Bathroom at Costco do I went to the Membership Desk entrance/ Store Exit Like I Have Done For Over A Decade and Showed my Membership Card to the entrance people But was Refused entry even though I showed the card and said that I needed to the Bathroom . . .

Now this is the Most Sinister part ;

I was told to go to the Shopping Members Entrance to have my Membership Card Scanned Then I can use their Bathroom that I have to walk though the store and go past the Checkout stands cause they put the Bathrooms in a location that is the full length of the Warehouse .

I have been a Member of Costco for almost Twenty years and this is how they treat me and other Members cause they don't know how to control the membership and Decided to Penalized the Membership for their failings .


I was in the United States Army for over Twenty years and never was treated in such a way so a over 60 years old Retired, Disable Veteran being treated like this on . . .

Veterans Day Weekend so I took my Business to the Presidio of Monterey Commissary that I showed my Military I.D. at the Door and was allow in and use the Bathroom without walking through the length of the Store .

I'd say "customer service" in general has fallen sharply going on thirty years now. It's at the point for me where I don't ask for help and don't expect any answers to questions.

In this case, I wouldn't have even stated my intentions and even if asked, I'd have simply mumble/grunted "services" and pointed to the desk without even breaking stride. I would continue walking even after they object repeating the same gestures louder and more incoherent as if they couldn't hear me.

Yeah, I gave that a second thought but the woman talking to me was so shrill and "Obey Me" attitude so I just said "I'm going to get the members to not renew " and then walked out .

This just made me think I should have a bottle of water with me all the time. Then as I'm walking away I can yell "Thanks for not helping, thanks A LOT!!" as I pour the water out from my pants pocket (too old to care how I look ).
