    Default Replacement buttons

New here and first post…. I bought a 1997 Big Pulsar with no keys and at the time unknowing if it even worked. I like to tinker and have a project so this was perfect. Picked the lock and turned the inside key to on and everything seemed to work. Stop buttons didn’t work but after spending some time on here I figured out I needed to put a new C10 capacitor in. Everything then worked great except the bet button. I swapped it out with a now working stop button and it appears to be bad. My question is what type of button can I use to replace them with? Is it something I can get on Amazon? The existing buttons are 19mm. My thinking is to cut the wires and use the existing connection to the board. Thank you for any help with this -Daniel

Without seeing a pic of the button. Can't say. But a lot use opto isolators. Might just need a new sensor. Of if the plastics broken. Might be worth a browse on ebay to see if anyone is breaking a similar machine

Maybe this will help. I’m wondering if it’s a momentary button?!? Hope I figured out how to add pics lol

Well I figured it out….. it is a momentary switch. I found a way to open the button and realized how it operates. When pushed there is a spring in there that makes contact at the bottom. The spring rusted and broke. Used what was left of the existing spring and cleaned the contacts. Good as newish…. I hope. Off to the next issue with it
