    Post Computer Pachinko Repair

    Hey guys,

I got one of those "Computer Pachinko" machines for 10.00 it's the Apollo cell, complete with stand and everything.
The primary issue right now is I need someone with one of these take photos of the control board and wiring.

More specifically the resistor and components bolted to the underside of the large silver heatsink.
I disassembled this heat sink and components to test something but before I could take a photo the green wire broke free and I have zero signs of where it was originally attached.
Can anyone with one of these machines take a snapshot for me.

I was cleaning/checking components because the machine doesn't act right.
When a coin inserts it is supposed to drop 3 sets of balls. When it does drop 3 sets properly, the game plays correctly, tilt sensors work, score will increase etc.
If it doesn't drop 3 correctly the game is locked up. Tilt wont work, scoring won't work, and the pocket solenoid stays on.

The other main issue is I am missing the score optical sensor. I know scoring works because I can manually trip this sensor to increase my score when its playing properly.
I need to get the control board re-assembled before going further into repairs.

The green wire is connected to the circuit board, via a wire added to it. Also, it appears that the blue wire (in your photo) is connected in the wrong place, compared to mine, with a wire added to it also.

Ahh nice... Thank you for the photos.
I double checked blue just to be sure. It's actually connected to the same trace just at a different via.

I'll be extending my wires as well -- these are way to short to comfortably move around with lol.

Are you getting like 16v on your orange power in wire to ground?
The schematics I have (barely can read them) show the PSU is supposed to be outputting 5v orange and 12v red

Your talking to someone who has "less than zero" knowledge of electronics.

I'm happy to help, but I'm really not comfortable checking electronics, with the machine powered ON.

No problem - Thanks for helping.
Once I get this cleaned up, I'll be able to continue diagnosing my issues with mine lol.
