    Default Mizuho Model B

I picked this up for almost nothing. (It was missing all the nails and playfield pieces).

The seller, at one time, had plans to restore it. He had removed all the nails and playfield pieces and some other parts. The playfield pieces and nails got put into a box for safe keeping. But over time, he believes the box accidently got put into the trash.

I have several containers of parts and 1000's of nails and should be able to come up with something to rebuild the playfield.

He still had everything for the back.

I like it also. It's out in the sun today, with other yellowed pieces, getting white again.

I like the whole aesthetics of the Mizuho frame pieces,

I was able to source the playfield pieces that fit the existing holes and for the nail holes to line up. Only thing I couldn't find was a playfield piece that goes above the center feature, to match with the existing nail pattern.

So, I filled the old nail holes with toothpicks and drilled new holes for the playfield piece. Marking the old holes in red and the new holes in green. That way when I punch the holes in the new playfield I know which holes to punch.

Originally, there was one payout light. Now there will be 14. I'm putting a led in each of the light cover lenses, (there are 6 in each light cover). Adding a payout light to the center feature and a color changing led to the center feature, also.

Is there a thread that has the products and processes you use to polish the plastic to that clarity?

Once I have the piece clean, I use Turtle Wax Trim Restorer on all the plastic pieces. It is used for restoring dull/faded plastic pieces on your car. (It's in the automotive section at WalMart.)

Use it on both sides of the plastic piece, to get it clear looking. There is really no polishing at all, the product does the work and the result is pretty much instant.

Wipe it on both sides, (I find it easier to wipe on with a T-shirt type material, about the size of your hand.)
Let it set for 5 minutes, then wipe it off, using a microfiber cloth.
Then, I use another microfiber cloth to do a final wipe down.

Turns out I had some Mother's brand Trim Restorer on hand that is the same stuff. Used it on some parts today and it does do and amazing job.
I was not leaving it on for 5 minutes, so I'm going to try leaving it on longer next.

On solid pieces, like the shooter tray, I'll leave it on for 20 to 30 minutes. Sometimes even longer. If that doesn't get it shining, then I'll wipe it down with some Orange Glo furniture polish.

On clear pieces, I'll leave it on for 5 to 10 minutes.
