    Default Daiichi Vanguard Questions

Hello, I was wondering what is going on with my machine? Everything works however whenever a jackpot hits after I reset it, it gets stuck in a upward position for any additional times it runs. I have a video to show what happens when a jackpot is hit.
Secondary question would be, does any know a good guide or video on how to disassemble a Daiichi Hi Deluxe New Vanguard pachinko machine. I want to clean it out however am hesitating because some of the hardware is nailed in rather than screwed in so I wanted to be least invasive as possible for right now or if I could just get to the tracks inside and clean those without having to take everything off.
Finally, if anyone has some cool videos or links to some good history on pachinko machines and/or also my machine aswell I would love to see it. I am getting into them and wanting to learn more so more knowledge the better! These machines are super cool!

That looks like normal operation to me. The seesaw with the 2 balls in it is designed to be in the upward tilted position for normal operation
It is actually pulled into the up position by the brass rod attached to it after the payout completes...It is waiting to receive the next winner ball to come down the ramp.

It seizes up a little bit after that however, does it just need to be cleaned up? Can I add some lube somewhere to make it run smoother?

The payout arm that dumps the balls has a brass shaft that it pivots on. If it is not operating smoothly, the pivot shaft could be dirty. Another thing to look at is the bore in the arm that the pivot shaft goes through.
Some machines need a little reaming with a drill bit to fix a misalignment in that pivot hole, which can happen with heavy usage and age. It binds up the arm just enough to cause problems.
