I decided to try it myself with some measurements off the machine and reference photos and surprisingly using this, wire coat hanger, and some weights, got it fully functional on the 2nd design iterationnishijin B empty hopper parts.zip. for the upper part that is weighed down when the hopper is full enough, instead of designing the whole thing and disassemble/reassemble the machine, i designed a part that would "clip" on to the lower part of the existing part to add a connection point for the wire linkage. not sure if they will work for you, but i attached them if anyone may find them useful.

Do you happen to have the stl file for this? This is what I am missing on one of my machines

I have been making 3D printed parts regularly, what part are you needing? The low ball ramp, or one of the other low ball linkage parts?

I think I found the file from one of your or someones posts but it was for the top tray to load the balls with the hole on the left side of it. I will let you know tomorrow when the file I tried completes printing to see if it worked for my machine that was missing this part.

Ok it did not work...I am looking for the upper ball tray for a Sankyo machine - it is one of those ball trays where the dispensing hole is about an inch in instead of right on the wall. Anyone have an stl file for that upper ball tray style? Currently have 3 machines I was able to secure and working on restoring them myself. All 3 are completely different in terms of the backs and parts .

I know of the design you are referring to. I do not currently have a drawing for that version, but I have other tray designs that could be modified and get a jumpstart on printing one.
I have a large format 3D printer that can do trays in one piece.

Haven't forgotten about you. I looked through my drawings and I have 3 or 4 tray designs, but not that one. I finally found a machine in the collection with the tray you are talking about.

I'll post a pic to confirm, and if it the right one I'll get to work on a drawing.

I think I do. This was used successfully for a Heiwa, but was copied from a New Gin.
Is this what it used to look like?

    Heiwa payoff slide.jpg

This file is for the slide only, but I have the flat square piece that this slides against as well.
