Default My 1st Pachisio Needing help with Reel Driver CCA

    Hi all,
Just picked up my first Pachisio, an Olympia Excellence Model -Ice Story. Cabinet is in bad shape, inside a mouse hotel. Hoping to get it functional then decide whether to Rebuild the cabinet or part it out.

Need info on the circuit board that drives the reels.
    Olympia G0002-03 MEIKO
    Resistor R1 completely destroyed.
R2-R5 measure ~10 Ohm but are in bad shape.

Anyone have a schematic or know what the 5 resistor values SHOULD be?
    Thanks

Would also appreciate any info on:
Is this Olympia Excellence Model -Ice Story a common platform?
How old this machine might be?
Are parts for this hard to find?

Just looking at the way the resistors are arranged, they're probably all the same. Between all that are left, can you tell the value from the color bands?

Color bands look to be Brown, Black, Black although none of the four are intact. Those 4 all tie together on one end, but the missing one connects elsewhere.

Olympia used this case for at least 15 machines between 1999 and 2002.. Twist ,Tom Cat and Las Vegas were probably the most common ones I remembering seeing the US in the mid 2000s..

Your machine アイスストーリー came out in December 2000..

They only parts you are going to find are from donor machines or 3D printed..

Some of the original website still exists!!

    Great, THANK YOU

Attached is pic of power supply. It would be great to know what the switches do. I've got the power & reset figured out, but lost beyond that.

Is there a model or style I would use when searching for parts on ebay etc ??

I don't know for sure, but I'd say the white button is used when changing the odds, the key switch is for resting and changing the odds, then the little switch is most likely one of these switches..

Two switches on the power supply:
    - One requires a soft reset at the end of a bonus.
    - The other pays out all tokens at the end of a bonus.

For these switches in most cases off is in the down or right position. The symbols for off and on are:

    無 = off

    有 = on

Looks like yours is in the on position..

    Then the power switch..

Replaced all 5 resistors with new 10 Ohm.
Machine powers up takes coins & rejects them when it should.
The 3 reels spin, (with 3rd one pausing at same spot at regular intervals), but none of the stop buttons work.

I found the cable that connects to stop board CN4 tucked behind stuff and not connected at the other end. Can't find a mating connector to plug it in. Guessing it's not needed for home use?

    Symptoms sound familiar?
    Thanks

The mice seemed to have stayed in the lower half. The board that sits on top of the reels was bout as high as they went, it got the worst of it. Luckily they didn't chew any of the wiring. The two large CPU boards covered with plexiglass look undamaged; and the inside of door is good where the wiring, connectors and boards are.

I swapped reel #2 & #3 to see if the pausing followed the reel or position. Now the reels spin & stop on command, winning hands get paid.
BUT, symbols dont' matchup with payouts.
Guessing I need to align the reels somehow?
Are the first 3 reels interchangeable?

Swapped the two reels back, & found an intermittent connection in one of the reel cables connection to the top board.
Looks to now be playing as it should! Symbols & payouts look correct.
Went thru the 3 white 7's bonus round without issue, paying out coins & playing music.
Quite entertaining for a 1st timer with a Pachi !
Thank You for the help folks!

For a machine this dirty (any restoration really) I'd hit every connector with contact cleaner. Be sure you get one that doesn't leave residue behind, spray and cycle each cable connector, and let it evaporate completely before powering up.

lead to nowhere probably would connect to the relay/opto board for data counters. Shouldn't be a problem if you don't want to add a counter.
