    Default Horror Mansion information please

I picked up a Horror Mansion pachinko machine a few weeks ago. (My 1st one!)

I really enjoy playing it, but I would also like to learn more about the machine. Google search is pretty useless when I try searching for it.

Firstly, when a ball goes into the target, the animation plays and the 3 wheels spin. What is it I am hoping to get? 3 of the same number I assume, but is that all? If you DO get 3 of the same number is it supposed to "pay out" some balls? Because if so, that is not happening.

I have put a heap of extra balls into the "hopper" but they just flow through and go back into the box underneath (the bank)...

    CHEERS PEOPLE!!

    WELCOME!!!

    Is this it??

If so it's made by Kyoraku and came out in 2003, it came in three versions.. On the bottom right of the cell it will show the name and you can see what version it is.. VX, ZZ or V..

    i-img900x1200-1628252248mkwkcz35990.jpg

If you search google with the Japanese name you should get better results.. CRホラーマンション

If the balls are coming out the front, it's just catching up with payouts..

If the balls are coming out the back then the ball dump is probably open.. post some pics of the back and maybe someone can spot the problem!!

You should get payouts for every ball in the start pocket.. If you match 3 the door on the bottom will open and pay out a lot when balls go in!!

Pachinkos have two main parts, the frame and the cell (the big round part with all the stuff on it).. One frame is used for many games/cells (like Horror Mansion) so if I had a different game but in the same frame I might be able to help you since all the ball payout stuff is part of the frame, but I don't.. That's all I meant..

Yep, that is a ball dump toggle

Would you please post on this Thread Nice, Clear photos of the full front of the machine and open the front ball tray door to see if the ball feed mechanism to the play field is complete and a full photo of the Back of the machine and of course close up photos of areas in question .

    Many thanks

Here are some photos, I hope they help you to help me. I didn't know the front opened separately. If the very bottom section opens too, it doesn't really seem to on mine and I am scared to force it!!!

The very bottom on the front of the machine does not open but with window cleaner ,microfiber towels and Q tips you can make sure that the ball path is clean .

Same with the back of the machine the top tray , the payout mechanism on the right hand side of the back of the machine .

Oh, for the Modern Pachinko machine you will need around 2,000 Pachinko balls , A ball catch box in back and at the food store get some of those small Tupperware type bowls to be under the bottom front of the machine tray to dump the balls to refill the top back ball tray when you start having "Fevers".

I use a battery back up to protect my machines with a surge power strip . (120vac) over here . I see you have a 100-120vac to 24vac step down transformer already installed in back .

    THANKS! :-)
When I fill the ball tray at the back on the top right hand side, the balls start to filter down to the payout mechanism, but they just flow through and pay out automatically??
How do I set it so it only pays out when it is supposed to?

Even if the machine has been switched off for a while? Surely it would only pay out on current wins?

About a week ago, I did open the front cabinet and "feed" the skull so I could see what happened with the animations, but surely if it's been off, it wouldn't be still trying to pay out on those?

These modern pachinko machine have a Capacitor battery that retained spins and payouts and yes you have to keep on feeding balls until it catches up .

Since they are gambling machines they have to remember all payouts that it couldn't make if there is a problem.. It can remember a Long time and thousands of owed balls!! It's usually a previous owner playing the game without enough balls in the rear hopper!!
