I just installed my CR Nadesico 2 into one of Ken's Cabinets.
I need to have a few more built, as I have 3 that need homes.

I'm new here and would LOVE a copy of Ken's cabinet design, but his original link doesn't work. Could or anyone repost the directions?

I just got off my duff and painted the most recent cabinet I had built. I still need to make 2 more, but at least my ReZero pachinko is mounted and ready to play.

I'm thinking about building one of these for my machine. Does anyone happen to have a photo of the hopper gate installed? I'm having trouble picturing it in my head.

I built the cabinet, based on the posted design. But I made a few modifications. I didn't want a painted cabinet. I wanted to show off some nice wood. In this case, I found a piece of Edinam, which was the right size. The original plans call for screws on the outside. I moved them to pocket screws on the inside. I also increased the width of the boards at the top and bottom to cover the cross pieces. I used plywood for the rear, bottom, and top structural pieces. Which held everything stay square, since the Edinam had a pretty bad twist in it. But everything came together nice and straight. I also changed the 1/8" plywood to 1/8" hardboard, which is stuff, but can be bent by hand. For the down pipe, I just found a part in the plumbing repair section of the big box store. I simply lined the rim of the down pipe with epoxy, and held it in place with weight while the glue set up. It forms a bowl and dumps the balls right down the pipe. I built a small ramp to direct the balls from the rear of my machine into the bottom of the cabinet. All of the lower sections where the balls hit and bounce were lined with rubber shelf liner to keep it quiet.

Its pretty stable as it sits, unless you open and swing the entire machine out on the piano hinge, then its gonna tip over.
As I said previously I extended the base out abit and I have them sitting on a stand. This works for me.

on my pachinko with only 2 each 2X4 feet I use two pieces of 2X4 screwed together so I can swing the whole front works for a cell change-out but with that cabinet design you would need a taller "stationary jack" for the cell change .

Hey SV, I built a cabinet for my first pachinko machine following Kens instructions. It came out nice except I forgot to extend the base out extra so its only 11" deep. It still feels sturdy enough to stand solid on the floor or small table. I was wondering what you ended up using for stands to put the cabinet on? I'm finding dining room type tables are a bit too tall and coffee tables are a bit too low.
