Default New pachinkos, an Isuzu and I joined the singleshot club with a Three Star

With yet another friend on the door step of death I was feeling very edgy today. This afternoon I decided that I was going to look for a pachinko on CL even if money is tight right now. I searched and found 3 at okay prices even if they were all way the heck away from me. I then spotted that two of them were only about 20 miles apart and thought that if I could make deals on both then it would make the trip less of a drain so I made some calls and hopped in the Datsun.

The first one is a "Three Star" single shot. I searched and found a hand full of posts here but only one other single shot (that had pics) http://www.pachitalk.com/forums/ebay...condition.html

It is not in the best shape but lt is all there other than a sheet metal cover on the back, I thought it was missing the drain tube for clearing the balls from above the payout but when I looked closer I see it has no drain so there is no need for the drain tube. It is not working but I will clean the parts up and fix some tweaked parts and get it running.

It has one glass and one plexi so after a good cleanup I will have a cool uncommon single shot.

I forgot to mention the tulip is broken but I think I have one from the Daiichi I parted out that has the same footprint, if it will not fit I will see about combining parts to get this one back together.

Okay, on to the second one... It is an "Isuzu" I have never seen this brand before and the tax sticker is missing so I can't date it that way. It has around 200 balls stuck in it so I will need to clear it out before troubleshooting it and it is missing the glass, the window over the shooter on front and the ball track cover but is in great shape and complete otherwise.

Anyone seen one of this brand?

I did get some slingshot ammo 100_2638.jpg

I will update when I get them cleaned up as there is no real info on these brands on here. I paid more than I normally would but being oddities I felt it was worth it. I am in them, including food and gas $130 and 6 hours driving but I feel they will be great additions to my collection and fill in some holes in our combined knowledge of brands and models.

Nice find! I thought they only made cars! I would have easily bought both of them!

these are both interesting machines, both never had lights but the 3 star was most definitely set up for backlighting with orange and yellow clearly shining through.

The seesaw reset is very interesting on the Isuzu, very fun to play with.

and it has the three ball tulip center feature

here is a video of the center feature

I also found the jackpot to work a little different than most, I know I have at least one other like this but the trigger is not the same

I still have a ton of cleaning to do but I have things working on it.

Another interesting thing about these two is they are not hinged, the frames are attached with wing nuts

I am sol on the broken tulip, I have nothing like it. I will pull it off and get pics of the back but if anyone has one that could replace it I am up for some trades or deal making
