    Default DonDonKing or DonDonKing II

Is there a DonDonKing II game? The local Sam's Club here has a DonDonKing and I can't tell if it is a I or II. Price is 238 and 450 tokens. The ones at Sam's Club are from TDC games. Anyway, I read where DDK seems to be popular.

I think I remember reading someplace (this forum or the old one?) that there was a Type-A and a Type-B Don Don King. Mine says Type-A right in the artwork on the belly glass. I've never seen a Type-B.

Anyone else see a Type-B Don Don King?

As far as your purchase at Sam's goes, I don't think it would make any difference. At that price, expecially with no shipping, it looks like a great deal.

    Midlothian Va .
I went ahead and bought it! It is in wonderful shape. They have some more but they are not Don Don Kings. They are Horse Racer, Trucker, Kung Fu Lady, Taco something, and some haunted house looking one.

Who is the the refurbisher/seller? I bought one at Costco some time back and GrandView products was the one who sold it to Costco and warranties it. The manual should tell you who it is. :-?

TDC Games is who is distributing them and who warrants them for 90 days.

The previous one I got from Sam's club was a Kung Fu Lady II. I was pleased with it, same distributor. But, this DDK looks BRAND new! When I open it, it also looks brand new in there as well. Guess I got lucky.

I am finding I like the DDK over the KFL II.

You were lucky! Without knowing it, you bought a great Pachislo! One of the best and most fun. In my ignorance, for my first one, I bought one of the less exciting machines (Continental 4X) from Costco, but I still like it. And, after buying that one, I was hooked!

I still like the Kung fu Lady II I bought from them the week prior. Now I really feel guilty! I now own two of them! What was I thinking, or more lack of thinking!

A friend has asked about buying the Kung Fu Lady II, so I may let it go so I can ease my conscious. I like them both though. This is as bad as buying cars to fix up!

Oh well, better than spending it on things that others can't enjoy. Everyone that comes over asks about the machine, and plays it. They all seem to have a good time. For 230 bucks, it seems like a good family entertainment item for all ages. Since there is no money involved, and it is more of a game of skill, I don't see it as gambling.

You're right, these are not gambling devices any longer. Stictly for home amusement and recreation.

And, the "proof" gets even better as the kids get older. My 13 year old daughter and her friends love the machines. When she has sleepovers for her friends, the first place they all head is to the game room.

My daughter just turned 14 and it's the same thing with her and her friends, if I even joke about selling a couple of the machines I get threatend and they all have a favorite and whine about which ones to keep. I had to sneak the Gung Gung out while she was at her Mother's so I could make room for the Dragon Dice, but it all worked out well she loves the DD now.
