They are doing it as a precaution as several pets have died recently after eating the food. They are actively trying to find the connection... whether it ends up being the food or not, who knows...just thought I'd put it out there. Info is good

Looks like Smokey is safe. Science Diet isn't on that list.

Kramer eats IAMS. I went to their site and they are down!

I just got on their site. Only cans and foil pouches are involved and only specific lots. If Kramer is eating dry food, there should be NO problem.

Yes, they are talking about the food that resembles sliced meat in gravy or stew types. That is what my Doogie eats (since my husband thinks it looks like real food), but luckily, the brand is not listed.

The puppy is eating only dry food...with good reason

My vet talked me into feeding Smokey only Science Diet, dry food when he was just a pup back in 95. It's all he's ever been fed and he's a happy spry 12 year old now!
