Tequila and Fruit Passion
I bought a couple cool 90’s kenrimono style gameplay machines recently. A 1998 Newgin Tequila off yahoo auctions and a 1996 Daiichi Fruit Passion off eBay. The Tequila one is supposedly very rare per the seller and I tend to agree as I’ve never seen one on the site for sale. The Fruit Passions were imported to the US though.
I prefer the gameplay of the Fruit Passion; more skill based, very hanemono like vs the more digipachi like Tequila. The Newgin has a more modern feeling shooter though that’s preferable to me however.
I made a custom matching cabinet for Tequila, it’s got a plastic frame with no easy way to attach “feet”. Anyone else have any cool 90’s kenrimonos?
