Cheers for the advice Wiz, they certainly do weigh a little more than the average machine
I reseated all the connectors I could get access to without completely dismantling the back and it seems to have done the job, monitor is now working again. However now I have an error number 2 on the back of the machine and it's not recognising balls in the top reservoir. Probaably going to reassemble the payout mechanism on the right hand side in the morning and hope that fixes it.
