I have a Julie pachinko and have a ball lifter installed in its frame (no cabinet). This works great, except for when I hit a fever. Then I need to keep refilling the hopper with won balls while trying to play out the fever.

Now, I think most people solve this problem by building a large ball hopper on the top of a cabinet.

I'm wondering if anyone has built a cabinet that lets you dump out the won balls, have them fall into the cabinet and then roll back toward a ball lifter that is mounted in the bottom of the cabinet? That would address a couple of issues - no heavy hopper filled with balls, and no need to have a shutoff switch below that hopper to let you open the cabinet safely.

Has anyone tried something like this?

Thanks,
-Mike
