Default Indiana Jones Fever Game Play...

I'm having fun with my new Pachinko though am having problems understanding how the game is played.

When I turn it on there's a series of slot machine style revolutions (try to match the three numbers/characters) and when you do get a match (some time not?) there's some sort of mini gameplay though after a while it returns to the "Fever" title screen. From there I try to get the balls in the center scull though it looks like nothing happens? A friend of mine got him walking though again it looks like no matter how many balls you get in the skull he doesn't do anything.

Can anyone give me a good run though on how I'm exactly supposed to play it?

(BTW I STILL LOVE MY PACHINKO!)

Think of is as like a slot machine. The best way to find out how to play, is to play, and play, and PLAY! That is the reason I have a few machines. The fun part is seeing what they do. I have machines that I have had for over 1-1/2 years, and they are still doing new things.
So really, the only way to find out how to play a particular machine is to play it alot. Then all of a sudden it will hit you and your passion for pachinko will grow!
    PLAY AND SEE WHAT HAPPENS!

Kind of confusing what you are describing.

If you see Indy walking underground from right to left, that's a high probability round. You get there after a fever. The numbers are on the lower right corner I believe. You have a higher probability of getting into a fever again. This mode should eventually end though and you should go back to normal play. This looks like one of 4 scenes - two in the desert and two in the jungle. Indy will pop up in these scenes occasionally, but he's not always there. During normal play, the number/characters appear smack dab in the middle of the screen.

Is this anything like you are seeing?

Sorry to be all over the place with my descriptions.

It just seams in the Fever Logo Screen I can shoot balls in the skull 5-10 times and nothing happens; then suddenly at random a little animation shows up (showing all the cute anime characters) and then instantly returns to the Fever Logo Screen.

While I was typing this up last night I left the game play to my friend Aries and she got to a screen where Indy was walking. Again she shot more balls than I could count into the skull with no change, just Indy walking down a cave from right to left.

I have no idea what I should be doing at this point.

BTW what are the green gems on the the bottom/left of the screen represent and what's with the digital two number counter on the bottom/right of the play field?

    1) What does the Start Screen say?
    2) What do the Gems represent on the bottom/left screen?
    3) What is this Counter for?

Are you talking about the small pocket on top of the skull? Or the two wings on the lower sides of the skull? The pocket on top is the start pocket. When the balls go in, it start the numbers spinning on the screen. The side wings only open during a fever round.

Try a reset. Turn power switch off.(right side of machine) Hold in the small button below power switch. Now turn on power while keeping button pushed. After start up cycle, it will beep twice. Then let go of button. This will reset to normal mode.

The Japanese words mean something along the lines of 'Please keep playing, the picture will return' (that's a best guess translation, It's late and I'm too tired to look it up in the dictionary).

The two digit display is an indicator used during and after certain fever rounds. Some parlours have rules about continuing play after certain features have been won, and the symbols shown in this display are used to enforce these rules.

The Chance button comes into play During a fever and chance. The game will tell you when to push. The two other buttons are Parlor buttons (card reader credits) for Daverobs Dongles (do a search to find out more about his awesome addition for your pachi) The last one is to empty the shooter tray.

Chance button can be used on certain games to interact with the gameplay. It will light up or flash if and when the game supports it.

Buttons 2 and 3 are the Ball Loan and Return buttons that are used to dispense balls and deduct credits from the pre-paid card systems used in pachinko parlours. I've got a bit more information about these buttons and the pre-paid card systems on my website.

The fourth button is used to dump the balls in the upper shooter tray into the lower tray.

You might be interested in looking at the technical manual for the Sankyo Lumina frame which describes most of the levers and buttons on the game. It's available from the research center on this website, and also on my website.

So it looks like if you can successfully pass though a jackpot adventure level that the pachinko hangs on the "FEVER" title screen cycles the main theme 3-6 times. Is this intended to call a game attendant over for credits? This is the only time I've seen the red digital counter (bottom/right of the play field) read other than "00", though whatever numbers/letters it shows is God's own little mystery.
