New to Indiana Jones Fever

I have had the game for about 2 weeks now, been trying different things. We get the fever every now and then (at least I think its the fever), its where they show the cartoon clips of him running, or replacing the stone with a bag of sand, then numbers twirl around and then it stops and goes back to the slots. Am I suppose to be shooting the balls while the different scenes are playing? what am I looking for or trying to accomplish when this happens? Also, we have gotten to the point where they show the movie clips, that takes a long time, am I suppose to do anything then either? Any help on how to play the game and what to do when is greatly appreciated. Thanks and I look forward to chatting with some new Pachi friends.,

it sounds like you are only getting reaches, thats a chance for a fever.

when you have 3 numbers or symbols match then you have a fever

keep shooting and you will learn as you play

For instance...if he is replacing the idol with the sand, and you match three numbers(let's say 7). then you will go into a fever. The animation of him replacing the statue is what is known as a "reach" If the numbers don;t match, then you missed the reach. Playing during this does not effect the ability to get a fever. If it's time, it's time.
If the title music is playing, and you see a bunch of movies (live action) with introductions to characters (indy, Short round...) then that is a fever. A door will open at the bottom, and you want to get as many balls in as possible. This is your highest payout. a fever will last 15 rounds.
After a Fever (15 rounds are done) you go into one of two things...a countdown 100, or a chance (Undetermined amount of rounds. This is based on whether you matched even numbers, or odd.

Youngjedi pretty much explained it all. There's also Indy Chance modes where you get a higher chance to get a fever. This usually occurs before you get a fever as opposed to afterwards. They show some video clips here as well. Just keep trying to hit the start pocket to get reaches (aka leaches), your chance of getting a fever are greater.

When you are in a fever you'll see "Round n" at the top, where it counts up to 15 rounds. During fever you want to get balls in the door rather than the Start pocket.

After a fever, if you go into the higher chance mode that YJ mentioned, the video looks like Indy walking from right to left along an underground path. Keep shooting for the start pocket.

when you say "shoot for the doors during the rounds" what do you mean by doors?

there is a small door right under the start pocket hole.

the door wil open for a short time each one of the fever rounds, everytime you get a ball in their you win up to 15 balls.

Oh sorry...for the Indy machine, there isn't a door like most other modern pachinkos have. In this case, try to shoot into the wings that open up on either side of the skull. That is what opens up during fevers.

thank you, I have seen the wings on each side of the skull open up, I also have gotten balls in there when that happens. Thanks for pointing that out. What about when they are on the cartoons scene of him running in the cave on the cliff and he comes up to the enemies and fights them? do I need to do anything? also there is a point where the ground beneath him starts to fall and he runs real fast, what do I need to do then? I appreaciate your feedback, its been very helpful. Thanks also to the welcoming committee.

Basically when you are in fever mode (the Round count is displayed onscreen and it is showing the movie clips) you should be trying to get balls into the wings next to the skull to winn loads of balls.

At all other times, you want to try for the start pocket (just above the skull). That will spin the numbers, which will get you the fevers.

You only push the chance button when the screen specifically tells you to...you'll know then that happens, it's very clear.

Other than that just enjoy the game and the animations.
